Business registration in Kenya is a relatively straightforward process, and can be done completely online through the eCitizen portal.

Register for taxes. Once your business is registered, you will need to register for taxes with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). This can be done on the KRA website for free.
Obtain a unified business permit. A unified business permit is required for all businesses operating in Kenya. The cost of the permit varies depending on the type of business and the county in which it is located. You can apply for a unified business permit online through the eCitizen portal.
Register with other relevant authorities. Depending on the type of business you are operating, you may also need to register with other authorities, such as the Local Government Authority or the National Environment Management Authority.
